Andromeda vs Xelento
I kept the Andromeda, for me it’s no contest. The sounds is just perfect across all frequencies. Xelento’s sub-bass is killing it, way to present. Andromeda’s are less congested and build quality is 200% better (not plasticky!)- Jettsom

Stax SR-L300 Impressions Thread
I’m quite enjoying the L300 with the 252s, I have the L700 pad on it and I’m waiting for a KGSSHV mini amp to arrive. I am wondering if upgrading to the L700 could be a worthwhile decision. I like very much the presentation of the L300 (very present, fast and forward sounding). What will I...- Jettsom

Can you tell me more about this mod? I considered the 353x as my next option. Do running it balanced makes a huge difference vs the 252s?- Jettsom

Andromeda vs Xelento
Hi fellow Headfiers, I need your help. I have the opportunity to buy the Campfire audio Andromeda for a good price and would like to know how much are they better than my Beyer Xelento’s at the moment. Will I gain anything? I listen mostly rock, metal, EDM. Thanks!- Jettsom

Beyerdynamic Xelento!
Dt1990 are great for everything. Clear, resolving, natural and soundstage is great (semi-open). For EDM/Pop I do prefer the planar sound though (He-560).- Jettsom

Beyerdynamic Xelento!
I have the DT1990 and the Xelento and I do love both. Xelento’s are a portable solution (commuting) of the Dt1990 IMO.- Jettsom

The Xelento are currently on sale on Amazon.ca at 1000$cad (760$us). Would it be a huge upgrade over my Sony Ex800st (MDR 7550)? I need your recommandations. Thanks!- Jettsom

That’s it! Order is done for the NW- ZX300! I’m pretty excited! It’s my first high end dap. I expect a big sound upgrade switching from the IPhone 7 plus. Now I need to find some good pentacon cables for my IEMs. Thanks everyone!- Jettsom
