All batteries eventually die. That is why Duracell's have 'expiration' dates on them. Get the generic ones. The brand ones you are paying for the name. (oops, I am supposed to say get the Sony ones...) Good to know it's not your Discman. Get the batteries and enjoy... Take care and...
