i already try foam, xelastec, sedna azla. the most optimum for the fit and sound i found is the stock silicone tips with the smallest size. i use universal int mest btw. It has bigger bore than xelastec, the material is very comfortable, and i can get very deep tip insertion.

As far as i know, the only way to get it is either if you are in Japan and you buy it there, or you have friend in Japan so he/she can buy it for you (In my country there is also someone that providing service to buy something in japan), or via fromjapan.co.jp. maybe other that have experience...

i dont have Z1R so i cannot compare. (the shell form is quite similar to Mangird tea, thieaudio, or ej07 if you ever try them) the shell is not too wide, a bit thick but not in annoying level. and it is light. the nozze is quite long, enough to get quite deep insertion.. fit is not a problem...

ah. yes maybe original version will be the best term for that to avoid confusion. (i just said US because it is sold by musicteck in US). and international ver in my post above is also refering to the original version.

that being said, my intention is not to rec people to choose international version over the jp ver, or say that one is better than other. Im just sharing the info i got, and hope people can choose based on their preference. But i believe both version are great sets. happy shopping!

just to make clear. i already try to press the shell (and seal the nozzle with finger to prevent sound leak from the nozzle) on my cheek bone, softbone outer ear, or back of my ear, but i heard no sound. (i see other BC earphone that works only by pressing the driver to the cheek bone)

Anyone ever tried the "Sound can be heard by touching any parts of the shell" feature of the BC driver? I just receive my MEST yesterday, and this is the first thing i try, because im very curious with this tech. But i find that didnt work in my set. Is my BC driver didnt work?

try this : pull your ear behind, open your mouth&jaw, then insert the iem to your ear. after that release your ear, close your mouth clench your teeth. this works for me in inserting my iem without creating air pressure/vacuum pressure inside the ear. i learn this from next big thing audio...
