Another Help Me decide Thread (Under $150)
@FYU - I love the sound of My SA6's but after 2 sets of wires, and 4 ear pieces I am finding them to be too much work. I will keep them around for at my desk/backup but would like something a little more resilient. About the PFE's, I have read a couple of reviews stating that they weren't...- Icaarus

Another Help Me decide Thread (Under $150)
It is now time to pick up another set of earphones. In the past I have owned the following: Shure E2C, SE210, Ultimate Ears 3, and Sleek SA6. I listen to mostly contry and jazz (yea a contradiction). I am looking for something around $150 CAD, willing to order through the internet. In ear with...- Icaarus

Best IEMs for mids? custom or universal
In my limited experience I have found that the Shures isolate so well because of their olives. The olives do fit the Sleeks (barely) and for the short time I have used them I find that Isolation is at least as good on the SA6's as on my old SE210's.- Icaarus

Sleek SA6
My Sleeks arrived yesterday and I was amazed, no customs fees. however that seems to be where my luck ends. After trying various tips and plugs (with ~20 hrs burnin). One ear piece seems to his no matter whether it is on the right or the left cable. Called sleek and left a message, hopefully...- Icaarus

Sleek SA6
Just took the plunge, and I have to say already I am impressed with SoundEarphones' customer service. I accidently selected International shipping instead of Canadian, and by 9:30 this morning I had already recieved a refund (for the difference) and a notice that the phones had been shipped...- Icaarus

suggestions on few IEMs (shure, etymotic, UE, denon)
Just a warning, I thought that the UE 3's were a good buy and everyone was raving their value when I bought them. Got them, put them in, and realized they were huge. I have tried the modification some will mention, it does not stop them from being HUGE. Have not heard the other ones on your list...- Icaarus

Panasonic Slimz HX70
Okay so this is my first review. I found these phones the other day while looking for something to try, couldn't find any information or reviews on them at the time so I figured what the heck. The HX70 is Panasonic's newest portable supra-aural cans. On the left cup is a retractable cord...- Icaarus

BloodSugar00: Are you describing sibilance? Yes, thank-you, and now I know what the effect is called as well.- Icaarus

Sleek SA6
I am a little new to this, and have only owned 2 good IEM's (Shure E2C and SE210). I noticed with both of these that the 'highs' can linger. Think the end of a female singer's high-notes will vibrate near the end, creating a harsh feeling. This is noticeable from a CD driven by my stereo. Is the...- Icaarus

Help, comfort for a glasses wearer
Thanks for the advice, I will look into the Grados and Sennheisers. I found the JBL 410s real cheap and was wondering if they were worth it?- Icaarus

Help, comfort for a glasses wearer
I am a student looking for a new at Home/Office set of headphones. Normally I use Shure SE210s with Olives but at a desk where I have to continually take them on and off they get kind of annoying. My listening tastes normally focus on Country and Jazz. I am looking for advice on a decent...- Icaarus
