Shaving, gents
just apply the cream directly to the face, then take a slightly wetter brush to start the process. Keep adding water if the brush gets dry (I use boar brushes mainly). Creams I'd face lathered with: Omega (or Proraso), Nivea sensitive, Godrej Mint- hisnibs

Shaving, gents
Quote: word of caution: don't do presoaking to tallow based soaps like tabac or be very anal about drying the puck. There are instances where the soap absorbed too much water. Go see related posts on badger and blade.- hisnibs

[Impression] FiiO E10
no it doesn't. The line out bypasses the internal amp I think. Switch the cable to a thinner one and still no joy... guess my line out connector is loose. :(- hisnibs

[Impression] FiiO E10
tried outputting the e10 to a lp 2020A+. Don't know if its my cable or the line out jack is loose but I need to angle the lineout wire slightly downwards to get stereo sound (using the uber thick 3.5mm to rca from monoprice). :( Still having no problems with the headphone jack but I seldom...- hisnibs

Budget Speakers for a University Student
well on a similar note, I will be using the exact setup as the OP but will add the FIIO E10 as the source. Looking for a subwoofer to go with this combo. Any recommendations? Thanks to the OP for providing a link to solen for the daytons. Unfortunately, they are backordered and will be available...- hisnibs

Shaving, gents
make sure your angle of attack is correct and exert no pressure. Let the weight of the shaver do the work for you. A way to ensure the proper angle is to place the head of the shave at right angles to your face and then gently tilt the shaver until the blade barely touches your face. Also, make...- hisnibs

Shaving, gents
For cella, I usually find that I have to load up at least 1.5X as much as the omega soap to get relatively the same amount of lather. I face lather in case you were wondering. For those who are starting DE shaving, would suggest a gillette superspeed with astra blades. Pretty forgiving setup for...- hisnibs

Nexus S + Voodoo Control
thanks! Having some time today, decided to mess about with 4.0.4. Shouldn't have done it. My old Apex rom 4.0.3 (which already had the matr1x kernel installed) was working fine somewhat, but I decided to upgrade to CM9 4.0.4 with Matr1x 18.5 kernel. Moral of the story? Better make sure windoze...- hisnibs
