Help diagnosing noisy/staticky Little Dot MkII
I don't think so. I can try moving It around, but I've had this problem in the same channel throughout a couple different configurations, and in different places in my house.- hexalamb

Help diagnosing noisy/staticky Little Dot MkII
Thanks, that's a good idea and I should have thought of it. Unfortunately, upon switching the tubes the static remained in the same channel. I guess this thing is just garbage? Thanks for the offer as well.- hexalamb

Help diagnosing noisy/staticky Little Dot MkII
I don't think it has anything to do with the temperature of the tubes, because I can leave it on for hours without the static happening sometimes. Could still be a tube issue though.- hexalamb

Help diagnosing noisy/staticky Little Dot MkII
Hey guys, I've been having trouble with my Little Dot MkII that I bought a while ago. It's had the problem since I bought it, but I only recently started to try and use it again. Basically there is noise/static in the left channel. It isn't always there, and usually if I turn the power off...- hexalamb

Help! My setup has permanently damaged two different pairs of HD600 in the same way.
I really don't think it was a single incident that damaged them. I think the problem developed over time.- hexalamb

Help! My setup has permanently damaged two different pairs of HD600 in the same way.
Okay, well if I spend 8 hours a day listening to music, this will still result in my headphones getting destroyed. It will just take three times as long. That's still just a year and a half. There must be something I can do here... something to prevent or diagnose the issue.- hexalamb

Help! My setup has permanently damaged two different pairs of HD600 in the same way.
There's no EQ involved. Is it a general rule then that you don't want to leave headphones plugged in when you're not using them?- hexalamb

Help! My setup has permanently damaged two different pairs of HD600 in the same way.
I've just had to send in my second pair of HD600 to be repaired. They developed some distortion/crackling in the left driver. This is the same exact issue (same driver and very similar characteristics to the distortion) that the first pair had before I had them replaced. I don't have the exact...- hexalamb

Help with Little Dot mk II
Hi, thanks for the response and sorry for the late reply. I'm actually away from home for a while, so I don't physically have access to the little dot. This might not have been the best time to post about it. I can, however, answer some of your questions: There are two different sounds...- hexalamb

Help with Little Dot mk II
I bought this a while ago and never really used it. Now I'm trying it out and it has some pretty apparent distortion if you listen to it at low volume/quiet music or with nothing playing. I'm hoping the problem is in the tubes and not the amp, but I don't want to buy new tubes just to find...- hexalamb

Questions about the LCD-2
Thanks for the response. Just to be clear, the wood part of the cans is just decorative? Additionally, if I were to go with the Mjolnir, should I just get the balanced cable from Audeze, or is there a similarly priced alternative that might be of better quality?- hexalamb

Questions about the LCD-2
Hey guys, I'm looking at buying a pair of LCD-2s and I have a couple questions: First, I've seen a couple people talking about the wood cracking on these. I'm wondering how many people have had this problem. More importantly, does the wood have anything to do with the sound of the cans? If...- hexalamb

Help Determining Cause of Subtle Static / Blown-out Sound in Trusted FA-003s
Thanks for the response. Do you know of a free program that will do channel reversing? I'm looking at the moment, but so far I'm not sure what will do the trick. Also, I have tried different files and sources many times. I'm pretty sure there is an issue somewhere in the equipment.- hexalamb
