Smooth Jazz - the poorly named upbeat instrumental music I love
Wow it's good to know I'm not the only one with "weird" musical taste. LOL. a good chunk of my 44000 song music collection is smooth jazz. I love it. Other artists that I have and nobody mentioned are Marion Meadows, Marcus Miller, Candy Dulfer, Tom Scott, Paul Taylor, -

Need cheap, comfortable IEM for gym.
These IEM are not for music so I don't care much about sound quality as long as I can hear spoken word clearly. All I want to do is block enough of the outside noise so I can listen to my audiobooks/podcasts at normal levels. So there you have it. Comfort, value and noise isolation are a must...- hermes_vb

Foobar skips at the end of every song
You da man!!! Wawapi 3.0 on PUSH solved the problem. Like Blood, Sweat and Tears used to say: You've Made Me So Very Happy...LOL BTW what's the difference between PUSH and EVENT. I never tried EVENT since PUSH sounds great.- hermes_vb

Foobar skips at the end of every song
I don't see PUSH mode available. I put it in WASAPI USB DAC and still does the same. I also downloaded DPC Latency and it says it should be able to handle it without a problem.- hermes_vb

Foobar skips at the end of every song
I have my USB DAC connected to my Win7 HTPC running foobar in DS mode. Every song skips at the end. It's a weird thing. When the track is about to finish (about 5 left) its skips and goes back a few seconds and does it again. It's almost like a broken record for any of you who remember those...- hermes_vb

Help Replacing Old Sennheiser HD 280 pro
I got them after somebody recommended them here six years ago. They are still going strong. I will still use them for watching TV at night, but now I'm looking for something more musical. I listen to all kinds of music (Electronic, Metal, Classical, Jazz, Latin, etc) so I need an all-around...- hermes_vb

Looking for over the ear earbuds
My current cheap iPod earbuds keep falling off. I need something that will stay attached to my ear, but I don't like the ones that plug into your ear canal. They are uncomfortable.I simply can't stand them. I also need to be able to hear outside noise (at work) so that's a second strike against...- hermes_vb

A friend of mine has been slowly putting together a home studio, nothing fancy, just enough to record his demos. He needs suggestions for a closed, circumaural headphones good enough to prevent or reduce sound leaks. He´s tight on money so his budget is around $60-$80. Any recommendations?- hermes_vb

What's a good set of headphones for Ipod?
I bought the Senn HD 280 two weeks ago. At first the sound was horrible. I was so frustrated I just wanted to put then on the driveway and drive over them. Then, I remembered many said they took a while to burn-in so I made a custom CD with all the types of music I listen to and waited. And...- hermes_vb
