For anyone looking for another cable for the Elear, my Beyerdynamic T5P.2 cable works perfectly with the Elear and it looks good too. I'm going to order a second cable 1.4m so that I don't have to use the ridiculous cable it comes with.

They block noise with or without music playing. As for plane noise, you would have to look at the frequency chart for that. Most headphones don't block noise that low very well, but with music, it would be better.

I notice the sound becomes muffled if the headphones shifts on one ear or the other. I notice it most if I am laying down with them on. If I stop moving then it evens out, and I don't notice it while sitting or standing.

Generally speaking it isn't an issue. The small size appeals to me for portability, bringing it to work, or using it with my laptop when I travel. I don't have any headphones that I can't run out of my phone if I am on public transit, which isn't often, and I care more about distraction than...

  Sure. I've had this for four days now. I had it in a felt pocket with a usb cable otherwise it hasn't rubbed up against anything potentially hard. Those marks are not possible from a USB cable, and if it had been that you would see the bare metal not the coating you see over those marks.

I don't know how they do it, but I love it. I don't think there is another headphone out there that could beat the TH900 at what it does. My favorite genre is electronic music, especially EDM and it blows everything else out of the water.
