Review: Vic Hernandez and the Koss PortaPro BT
As an avid gear person and tinkerer, I have attempted many mods on my audio gear over the years: from pad and cable swaps to filter modding, driver damping, and grill mods, I've done pretty much everything I ever could have to the gear that I've held on to without learning how to solder (and...- Gilly87

Westone Bluetooth V2
Haven't tried Westone BT 2, but the Shure BT2 is excellent. AptxHD, 8+ he battery life, and a reasonably ergonomic design...I'm very happy with it. Much, much better than Westone or Shure BT v1.- Gilly87

Koss PortaPro Wireless
I just wanted to say, I friggin love these. They're an awesome workout headphone. They fit well and don't have any parts that feel like they're bouncing around when I run, even thought the battery is pretty decently sized. They have great bass to keep the beats pumping, but it's not...- Gilly87

Headphone Driver Materials
I've always wondered about driver materials for certain headphones. Right now I'm especially curious about the Porta Pro, HD650, and HD25-i-II 70 ohm version. Anyone? Bueller?- Gilly87

1MORE H1707 Triple-Driver Over Ear
Oh, sweet. What kind of connector? Now we just need to convince them to make the Triples and Quads RC...preferably MMCX unless they want to be the first to make good quality 2pin Bluetooth and phone cables...- Gilly87

Thoughts on an oldie, UE6000?
Id check out the Soundmagic HP151 and, depending on how you feel about clamp, the HD280 - I find them extremely comfortable, but I know the clamp is a bit much for some folks. I do have a somewhat narrow head.- Gilly87

1MORE H1707 Triple-Driver Over Ear
If someone could teach Xiaomi about replaceable cables and help them devise more neutral but still distinct aesthetics, the game would start changing fast.- Gilly87

hd25-1 impressions thread
That looks like an amazing deal; I'd say it seemed too good to be true if the HD26 hadn't become their flagship broadcast headphone. It's got the split headband, which means it probably has the same fully modular design as the HD25-1-ii (the good one), but I can't say for certain. It looks...- Gilly87

No time like the present. Its a purchase I've never regretted. I sold my original 1-iis because I was on a spree, but regretted it shortly and wound up buying a pair of Amperiors to replace them. I would recommend the 1-ii over the Amperior, though; I have the Amps and they are great, I get a...- Gilly87
