I had the exact same issue. The unit was replaced by my dealer after a short delay. The replacement is an improvement, but the click is not as prominent as the Mojo.

I love the sound of my H6 Gen1 but I've just heard the B&W P9... wow.. the sound stage on them makes the H6 sound almost mono. Thing is, the P9 is has a LOT more bass, too much for my liking. Putting them though my Mojo helps a lot, but they're still not 'right'... too 'coloured', too much...

The V-Moda "Audio Only" cable is not compatible with the V2.  This cable gave a noticeable improvement on my V1s.   Also, quick update on my V1 vsV2 dilemma... I've sent back the V2s, much prefer the V1 sound.. the V2s are just too 'boomy' for me :/ 

yes, does seem odd that they would use two different sized plugs. The cables I got, that don't fit, were the 'Audio Only Cable' https://v-moda.com/audio-only-cable/

yep, the hole is smaller and the plug on the included cable with the V2 is narrower.   I'd bought two of the v-moda cables for the V1 and had them wired to the two headphone sockets on my Mojo... which certainly seems to give them a little more oomph.
