I just measured the unbalanced cable with a multimeter to confirm the wiring, I emailed OIDIO my findings and asked if they could put up an X3 cable in the shop. Ill keep you posted!

Kind of a pointless argument, that the deal now is bad just because you snagged it for 140usd a few years back. The price of 3000 SEK has been valid for the past six months, so the price of 1500 SEK is effectively 50% regardless if you or I bought it for a similar price years ago.

I paid 150euro for my X2HR when they where on sale on Amazon a few years back (excluding tax 21%) I never seen the X2HR under 3000sek in Sweden.

The X2HR is now on sale in Sweden for 1500 sek which is 50% off. It's around 177usd. So it might be coming down in price soon.

They seem in the headband on the X3 is normal as long as it hasn't started peeling. The X3 will demand more of your amp than the X2HR and they will need some time to warm up. I'd take the tighter and more engaging bass of the X3 over the rumbling X2HR, to be honest.

The X2 are bass-heavy for sure, they are fun but they lack detail in comparison. Setting up the X2HR on a more neutral audio interface the lack of detail and heavy bass becomes more apparent. But if you are used to the X2 the X3 will certainly be very different, as been mentioned the X3 really...

Is there a specific version of the Bursons opamp that fits the X7 ? Or could a v6 work aswell ? I want try replacing the stock, but do want to be able to close the unit. Thanx!
