Yes, the Salk site can be a bit overwhelming but Jim Salk answers emails very promptly. Great to work with. I got mine used so the financial blow was a bit less.

I have a Freya and Vidar also, hooked up to Salk HT2-TL's which I am really enjoying. I will be interested to hear how the more efficient Tekton DI's sound. Good luck on the recovery.

I am still really enjoying my Freya/Vidar combo driving my Salk HT2-TL's. I agree, the comments have really slowed down but maybe that is because people are enjoying their new equipment. The Salk speakers I have are also 4 ohm and the single Vidar has no problems driving them. Imagining is great...

I would enjoy hearing the monoblock configuration. I have not pushed my single stereo mode Vidar to its limits but it gets really loud with my Salk's. Seems like it keeps getting better as to smoothness and imaging. Of course that could be me getting more used to the sound.

I am driving a pair of Salk HT2-TL's with the Freya/Vidar combo and really enjoying it. I have had the Schiit gear for exactly a week. Not sure when burn in will be complete.
