HE1000 has a bigger soundstage, more neutral, more laid back, more depth, the more accurate headphone, more comfortable.   LCDX has more bass, more bass impact, more intimate, midrange is debatable (I prefer LCDX)   HE1000 is my favorite headphone I own, so I'm bias.  My pre-fazor LCD3 does...

I'm not sure what to think about the new upgraded driver to be honest.  I bought the headphone used and as part of testing it I ran bass shaker tests and noticed right away that one of the drivers was rattling so I RMA'd it within a few days of owning it.  I really only know what the new drivers...

    Looking forward to the measurements, thanks in advance for posting them!   Just out of curiosity, what are your impressions between the Ebony and the  D7000?  Did you like one more than the other, and if you did why?  

  It would be nice if the weave pattern is a 1x1 weave and not the 2x2 that is on the Ether C.  The 1x1 would look more "checker board" and not as "zig-zaggy" as the Ether C.

Definitely looking forward to your impressions of the Abyss and Utopia.  Especially in comparison of the HE1000.   Do you have impressions of the LCD4 in comparison to the HE1000?

  Sorry to hear about your headphones.  Out of curiosity, would you say they are equal weight to your LCD2.2s?  Mind commenting on the comfort since it would be silly to comment on the sound?

Great information and I agree with you about the graphs.  Now if only someone can post a 2016-revision LCD3 graph.  I'm curious to see if the 2016 revision has a FR more like the LCD-4 or if they kept the FR like how my pre-fazor is.   My assumption is Audeze puts the same tune on all their...

  Just for comparison purposes:  This graph is for my pre-fazor LCD3.   You can definitely see "Audeze tuning" in the two.  Of course, the older headphone drops before 2k hz and has a bump at 5k hz that the newer revisions and LCD4 keep more neutral.  Strange enough, the LCD3 doesn't have...

Yeah.  I misspoke.  Let me correct that.  What I meant was when Audeze added Fazors to the LCD-2 and LCD-3 it reduced the bass in comparison to the Non-Fazor'd LCD-2 and LCD-3.  But yeah, its not like the LCD-3F has no bass, it just has less than it did before it got Fazors.  Although, I hear...
