    Narrowing down the field: Sennheiser HD598, HD600 & HD650

I was in the same boat. I found out they are different headphones for different purposes.   HD600 - They are still pretty good unamped but I would prefer the HD 598 if you never intend to use an OTL amp. I auditioned them with a bottlehead crack. Very neutral and analytical from top to...

    Philips Fidelio X2?!

Thank you for the suggestions and tips. I had my eye on the Woo Audio stand and I really like the simplicity of the Senn HH-10. I can never decide on accessories and I may just have to pick up a pelican case instead because our cat loves to lean or sit on ANYTHING new. Shipping box from Amazon...

    Philips Fidelio X2?!

Thanks socks mk2. The Firestone Audio stand is beautiful. I am certainly picking up that stand if another Massdrop occurs. The reason I asked is because I saw a couple pictures of X1s. Philips Fidelio X2?!

I was torn between the between hd 600/650 and x1/x2. It took me weeks to finish reading these threads, reviews and comparison but I ultimately settled on the x2s. I can not wait to take them for a spin. In the meantime, do headphone stands cause the headband (hammock suspension one) to stretch?

Case-fi: Reccomend me a case for my D40 and MBP

How about ANY bag of your choice with Domke inserts and a waterfield booqbag laptop sleeve (both are custom fit for your laptop) It's inconspicuous and provides maximum protection.

How many of you underclock during the summer?

Switched my q6600 over to watercooling with a slight overclock since I don't have the AC blasting and it makes the room hot.

    Anyone like fast cars?

Oooh I didn't know this thread existed but I do have a decent street Mustang. A solid 347 build that will runs high 12's. Passes smog, cold AC, and gets low 2x mpg freeway.
