    Android phones and USB DACs

I think it's software problem because while I used UAPP/Onkyo HF there are no crackling noise/pops. May be, I will try to check sampling, but I used only 44.1 and Mojo led also said it playing 44.1 so I think there are no resampling.

    Android phones and USB DACs

I just tried Neutron eval. Turned off everything, resampling standard (bitrate from song anyway so this shouldn't effect), 64-bit off. Still heard crackling noise (sometimes, less frequent than Hibymusic), but always heard when pausing. Sound quality good, I think it sounds same as Hiby, seems...

    Android phones and USB DACs

Can you guys recommend some android apps. I have tried several apps and here're my reviews: - UAPP: Too much clear sound, sounds too separated. - Onkyo HF (free, play flac only): a little dark, more balance than UAPP. - Hiby: Nice sound, I think the best. But crackling noise and pops appear...

Venture Electronics VE Zen 2.0 impressions and discussion thread

Im using Fiio x5ii + Leckerton Uha-6s.mkii (opa627) with normal zen 2 and I found the combo amazing. Quick impression: - enough bass - amazing mid - treble a little roll off but enough for me. Very relaxing.   My ok1 broken but if I have to compare zen 2 is easier to drive and more relax to...

    The Pono Player Impressions Thread

Thanks @charleski and @flatmap, so glad to hear that. I am so interested with the Pono power, and so glad that Pono can drive even HD600. Any detailed review about its battery life. I heard that it can stands 8 playing hours, which is a little bit of short.

    The Pono Player Impressions Thread

Thanks for your impression. I'm not really interested in DX90 because its battery life and specially after I use dx50. The build quality is not good and dx90, like dx50, have volume changing lineout, which is not good. By the way I also heard that X5 is better than dx90 with lineout. That's...

PONO - Neil Youngs portable hi-res music player

Yes I would wait till middle of the next year to consider to buy a new DAP, after I've just bought dx50 and found that it was too different from my taste. Pono is so great in shape (although many people think its shape is weird) and the UI... The downside is battery and I don't even know...
