Just added to my collection a Kel-tec PF9, can't believe I found one. I was 12th on the waiting list at the store I usually buy from. I'll try and get some pics once I get a nice pocket holster for it.- Duke309

If there were better ranges around where I live, I would be able to justify a rifle collection. I guess my wallet is thankful for this.- Duke309

Questions on the Audio-Technica AD900.
I've only really listened to my AD900s with my EMU 0404 usb, which has a nice headphone amp. I think they would do great for the music you listen to. As for comfort, I can easily forget I have them on. They can get a little hot after having them on for 2+ hours, but I usually need a break by...- Duke309

My first impression of the MS-1, after also considering the SR80 and SR60.

What music ripping software do you use?
I use mediamonkey to convert my files to 192kpbs mp3s since I only have a 4Gb ipod nano. If you have one of the bigger ipods, the optimal solution would probably be to stick Rockbox on it and keep with the Flac.- Duke309

what's the safest way to store music?
As it has already been said, redundancy is the key. Make as many copies as possible, internal hard drives are so cheap now there really is no excuse not to have your important data on a raid array. If you are going to go with a hard drive solution, I recommend having the data stored in at least...- Duke309

What music ripping software do you use?
dbPowerAmp ripping to Flac, really easy to use and very fast too. Flac is the free lossless audio codec, and since its a loseless audio format it is a great choice.- Duke309

got a link for the changelog for the updated drivers? I'm pretty sure I never got around to updating the drivers off their site.- Duke309

Alessandro MS-1 vs Grado SR-80
MS-1s are great for metal, I had the hd414 reversed with the quarter mod. I like the hd414s more than the stock pads and the quarter mod really boosts clarity, but it raises the high end a little too much for my taste.- Duke309

ATH A-500 vs. ATH-AD500
The A500s are pretty good entry level cans for the money, they can hold their own pretty well in their price range (my AD900s kill them however). If you can afford the 700 series, it would be a good step up over the 500. The 500s are extremely comfortable and do sound great however.- Duke309
