The Astell & Kern AK240
Thanks, a fresh download worked first time. Either the A&K version is buggy or corrupted, but anyway I can transfer properly now. The only other software fault is nothing to do with A&K but the Android system. It counts files 1,10,11,..2,20,21 etc and as a result you have to renumber files if...- Divory

Oh well! Back to the trash bin and reinstall ATP. Such a pity because I rather fancied transferring files through wifi or bluetooth. I do run Windows through VMware Fusion (which I hate!) but it does appear that file transfers seem safer that way. Perhaps I will have to use this in future...- Divory

The Astell & Kern AK240
I would be grateful if you could help me. I have an AK240 and still wonder at the quality of music. However, connection with a MAC is not good and after losing a folder with over 80gb of files (luckily I had made a backup) also got fed up with ATP and following your posts downloaded SyncMate...- Divory

The Astell & Kern AK240
I have an AK240 with a GR10 and a balanced HD650. As someone who goes back to the original walkman I just cannot believe my ears - or stop listening! I do have one problem - I use OSX and thus the Android File Transfer which works after a fashion. My problem is that I have 125gb on the AK240...- Divory

MQS Streaming Server software for Mac (for AK 240)
I am afraid that I have a similar experience. You can download the manual but the app only takes you to a Unix terminal file. Does anyone have a working MQS Streamer file, or a working link, that they can email, please? David- Divory

I do not know whether there is intelligent life in the universe but I do know that 128gb micro SD's exist. h2testw is for windoze and I use a Mac. I found a programme called sdspeed that measures the read/write speed of cards and in doing so writes a series of 1gb files. It started at 10.38...- Divory

Well here is the system information from my AK120. The 128gb card is in External 01. I must confess that I relied on eBay refunding you if the goods were not as described. I am as amazed as you are that these cards exist and that is why I wrote in. G- Divory

I may only have contributed a couple of times before today, but that was only because I had nothing to say. I had had a PC since September 1977 (it was the first Apple II in the UK) and I have used them ever since and I am in the technology world. I assure you that I know the difference...- Divory

The seller said Samsung but there is no evidence of the manufacturer on the card. I was rather sceptical when it arrived and tested it on an old computer but it checked out. System Information gives the full capacity and I can record and play back on it. So far I have only put a few gb on it...- Divory

Well I can't believe that one - I am surprised that they allow it on the site! Mine was obviously used and I took the chance and it is full capacity. Whether it lasts is quite another matter, but I don't foresee any real problem. Once it is in the AK120 I won't take it out and that will...- Divory

Not much point in a picture - it looks just like any micro card, but in this case worse for the lettering has worn off. I bought it from eBay.co.uk for £51, which, even if it was used, seemed a bit of a bargain. System Information shows 124.97gb, and it works.- Divory
