i'm not a hardcore audiophile but here's mo.... to me the UM2s sound great...the highs aren't all too great but they do sound very good. there's an emphasis on the mids n bass....its sounds really good to me...bass is tight sounding not too loose...to me it feels just right. i listen to a lot...

y all da hate? lol.....i lookin at the e4s n um2s right now.....considering SF.5P for it's bass capabilities tho...only thing is that i heard they break real easily...n dat would truly be a waste cuz i'm dead broke right now....so yea....do they really break easy?

btw who makes the e500s? do u mean e5s? i'm hearing that the UE super.5 pros have a really good bass but does build quality really suck dat much? i don want a pair of $200 headphones to fall apart on me...especially since i'm dead broke -----edit--------- k shure's e500 r way out of my...

i haven't bought nethang yet...uhmmm, hmmmm....i kinda like a punchier bass, so how does ER4P compare to E4s in that sense? i listen to a lot of bass heavy music like rap, hip hop, jrock n dat kind of stuff....

u should also try creative EP630s. they're like the cx 300s but cheaper....otherwise for better iems u should try the E4s or im716s.

ic....how bout the EP630 and CX300? i think imma end up getting the e4s n either one of these cheaper iems.....which would be better? i'm hearing mixed reviews about the cx300 whereas most ppl who have the 630s are happy wit em... also considering the E3cs now....ppl r saying that the E4s...
