The tips from the ultra fits securely on the az100.

They L size tips are pretty large, I think they will fit large ear canals. The eartips from the Bose quiet comfort ultra also fit on the az100. Third parties tips are fine as well since the notch is inside the bud's body and not in the nozzle.

Yea the notches are in the bud's body and not on the nozzle itself, so third party tips should be able to fit.

I think 3rd party war tips should be doable on the oval nozzle. There's a picture of the tip and the nozzle in the link below. The notches make the tips attach very securely to the buds, it's quite difficult to remove the tip from the nozzle. https://www.stuff.tv/review/technics-eah-az100-review/

I've got the ANC version. Using on Android phone with wavelet EQ. Turning up the higher frequencies makes them shine.

I haven't encountered any QC issues on mine so far.
