Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
Bought a Samsung s25 phone recently, got the buds 3 pro to take advantage of the higher bitrate offered in the Samsung ecosystem. ANC is pretty good, just very slightly below Bose and airpods. Treble is a bit hot due to the Harman tuning, turning down the 8k band in the wearable eq by a notch...- DigDub

Technics EAH-AZ100 - Reviews & Impressions
They L size tips are pretty large, I think they will fit large ear canals. The eartips from the Bose quiet comfort ultra also fit on the az100. Third parties tips are fine as well since the notch is inside the bud's body and not in the nozzle.- DigDub

Technics EAH-AZ100 - Reviews & Impressions
Yes in the true wireless thread, I've also mentioned about the quality of the bass, it sounds very organic and smooth. Switching between the az100 and other earbuds, the others sound "wild" now. One fault I find with the az100 is with the adaptive ANC. The adaptive ANC sometimes are not equal...- DigDub

The battery life is vastly superior. Sound quality wise, I prefer the az100's tuning over the az80. ANC is also better on the az100.- DigDub

The az100 sounds smoother and more controlled than az80. Az80 has a more "Harman curve", the treble sounds more elevated and has an overall more exciting sound while az100 has a mature tuning. Az80 has a more holographic soundstage, az100 has a more precise soundstage if that makes sense. The...- DigDub

Yea the notches are in the bud's body and not on the nozzle itself, so third party tips should be able to fit.- DigDub

Yea the part where the tube of the tip attaches to the nozzle is different. The az100 has an oval shaped nozzle with 2 notches to prevent the tip from being spun around when adjusting. After a few hours of burn in, the sound has opened up. They sound very organic. Switching between pi8, az80...- DigDub

I think 3rd party war tips should be doable on the oval nozzle. There's a picture of the tip and the nozzle in the link below. The notches make the tips attach very securely to the buds, it's quite difficult to remove the tip from the nozzle. https://www.stuff.tv/review/technics-eah-az100-review/- DigDub

The Technics az100 are here. Initial impressions are that the sound signature has a heavy mid bass with mellow highs. Az80 has a wider soundstage, probably due to its acoustic chamber, which I believe the az100 do not have. The tips are proprietary with 2 protrusions which fit into the 2 notches...- DigDub

Apple airpods 4 ANC. Using it on a Google pixel 9 pro fold Android phone. ANC is pretty good for an open type design. It effectively eliminates soft whirring sounds like air-conditioning and fan. Loud low rumble like bus engines still get through, as do voices. Transparency mode sounds similar...- DigDub
