Hiby R6 Pro - serious upgrade to popular DAP

I also use foobar2000 and I have specified the "DSD : ASIO : TUSBAudio ASIO Driver as output for the R6Pro. Thus, mp3, flac and DSD iso files were played without problems. However, I only connected the R6Pro for a short time because I prefer to use my chord mojo as a DAC.

Hiby R6 Pro - serious upgrade to popular DAP

Thanks Joe - your driver works fine. The configuration in the windows sound settings for the bitrate, f.e. 24Bit 192Khz, is conrrectly shown on the R6Pro display. In foobar2000 the corresponding TUSBAudio ASIO driver provides me also an entry for DSD - just like my chord mojo. Thank you for...

Hiby R6 Pro - serious upgrade to popular DAP

This version 1.6.1.0 does not not work - the same behaviour as the R6 windows drivers downloaded from the head-fi R6 thread and from hiby´s website.

Hiby R6 Pro - serious upgrade to popular DAP

Today i connected the r6pro with my windows 7 x64 computer to upload some new files. It works fine, but when i tried the DAC functionality, windows tries to install a new driver without success (see picture 1). In the device manager (see picture 2) you can see the error code 10 - the...

Hiby R6 Pro - serious upgrade to popular DAP

i am using the same sd card with mp3, flac, dsf and iso files (total 13676) in my R6Pro without any problems ... the writing speed of the card in my usb3 card reader is about 16 Megabyte/s.

Hiby R6 Pro - serious upgrade to popular DAP

After using my R6Pro for three weeks, I can say that the sound with the TFZ Series 2 on at the balanced port is crystal clear, airy, transparent, very lively with a lot of pressure and dynamics and little but pleasant bass like my HD800, and also with a wide stage. Maybe it is not so tuned to...

Hiby R6 Pro - serious upgrade to popular DAP

during shuffeling, I noticed that the album name is not shown directly on the display. For albums without covers, it's rather cumbersome always to tap the properties item on the device to see this information. Is there a solution for this ?

Hiby R6 Pro - serious upgrade to popular DAP

just received the Hiby R6 Pro - the clear, airy, micro detailled and wide sound stage with the DMGs and the tight and dynamic sound with the balanced TFZs is really impressive, although the unit is not burned in yet. ... apart from the fact that the device is first-class crafted

Shanling M5s now with TIDAL - Dual AK4493EQ DAC, fully balanced, Wi-Fi, 2way LDAC BT, 3.2 Touch screen, FW 3.7

The statements in the sense of "it works for me - no problem" are neither goal-oriented nor constructive, especially if this problem definitely occurs in reality. On the contrary - one feels with his problem rather misunderstood or left alone. That is not how it works - this issue was actually...

Hiby R6 Pro - serious upgrade to popular DAP

Hiby R6 Pro - serious upgrade to popular DAP

After sending back the iBasso Dx120 for poor and bouncing keys and the Shanling M5s sounding a bit weak/thin for my taste, I have now come to the Hiby R6 Pro. This unit also has enough power reserves to run my HD800. Unlike the above players, it offers the opportunity to search in the music...

Shanling M5s now with TIDAL - Dual AK4493EQ DAC, fully balanced, Wi-Fi, 2way LDAC BT, 3.2 Touch screen, FW 3.7

After problems playing 20% of my DSD iso files, responding of the start/pause key and displaying album covers (only 10% are shown in list view) I'm glad I sent this weak player - even the sound is audibly weaker and thinner than from the DX120 for my taste - back to the german distributor in time. .

iBasso DX120 pure DAP player. Balanced, single ended, line out and 2 micro SD slots. FW 2.9.21 now out!

Is there any iBasso DX120 user, whose device turns the powerbank off after being fully charged - like a Samsung S7 for example ?
