What book are you reading right now?
Now that the year is coming to an end, I'd like to say that of the two dozen or so books I've read during the last 12 months, The Rings of Saturn by Sebald was far and away the best and I highly recommend it.- DamageInc77

Speakers - any experience of B&W, Dynaudio or Audiovector, Neat?
I just bought Audiovector SR3 Signature speakers a few days ago. I demoed the SR3 Super and liked it, but I was given a great offer on the Signature and went for that instead. Also purchased a subwoofer, which I think is a must for these speakers unless you live in a smaller apartment. I do like... -

Read that last year. Not a particularly "fun" reading experience. But neither is this book I started on yesterday.- DamageInc77

I can get the Sony XM3 for less than half the price of the B&W PX7. If it creaks, I will be returning it as well. You might not have an issue with the PX7 regarding comfort, but for me the clamping was too much.- DamageInc77

Returned mine yesterday for a full refund. Will probably end up getting the Sony XM3 instead due to better comfort.- DamageInc77

Bowers & Wilkins PX7 noise-cancelling over ear headphones
I've already tried that. Removing the pads, cleaning out anything that might be an issue, even tried reversing them. No change, I still get the creak/pop/snap noise in the left side when I move my head or flex my jaw.- DamageInc77

Bowers & Wilkins PX7 noise-cancelling over ear headphones
No, much different popping sound. Doesn't come from the drivers, but somewhere else in the cup. Sounds like flexing of a mini snapple lid. I only get ANC popping when I switch from Auto to Off. Doesn't matter much to me anyway anymore, as I am returning my pair on Tuesday due to comfort issues...- DamageInc77

Bowers & Wilkins PX7 noise-cancelling over ear headphones
The popping sound I get in the left side has nothing to do with ANC. If I flex my jaw or move my head in a specific way, it will give a little creak/pop, even if the headphones are turned off. I will keep demoing them, but right now I am leaning towards a return and a refund. Can't deal with...- DamageInc77
