I'm new to high res music but don't know if i should continue...
I think you're confusing video terminology with audio terminology. That would be 320 kbps bitrate, not a video resolution of 320 progressive. Honestly, it's really hard to tell the difference, if any, between 320 kbps and FLAC level files. I think the main reason you'd want to buy a DAP is...- CyberSyringe

Tinnitus
Oh, I never said that it could be cured. I said that such usage would help prevent hearing loss. Should've also emphasized the importance of responsible listening levels and time exposure of course.- CyberSyringe

Tinnitus
To prevent noise induced hearing loss from progressing, I usually take high doses of Vitamin A, C, and E as well as other minerals, etc. Antioxidants help clear and prevent the buildup of free radicals in your ear which are produced by cell mitochondria when the cells are stressed from high...- CyberSyringe

AudioQuest NightHawk Impressions and Discussion Thread
I don't know how people can stand listening so loud with headphones in the first place. I think it probably has to do with audio cues being diminished with headphones vs speakers. With speakers, I think the body senses intense vibrations since you can literally feel the music/sound. I notice...- CyberSyringe

OPPO PM-3 Portable Planar Magnetic Headphones Loaner Program
If they're blown, let's hope I can receive a pair that are in good condition. Would love to compare and contrast with my HE-400i's as well.- CyberSyringe

Tube DAC and tube amp in conjunction
I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience in using a tube DAC and tube amp in conjunction in the sound chain. I'm currently thinking about adding an tube amp into the mix, but the problem is I also have a tube DAC already being used. Is everyone's experience with such a feat good for...- CyberSyringe

Instantaneous Noise Induced Hearing Loss - Sony MDR-7506 Headphones
You know, at this point I'm thinking it's not particularly because of your noise exposure but rather something else. Maybe blood flow was cut off from your inner ear somehow, which led to damage? This is probably mostly coincidental with other confounding factors.- CyberSyringe

Instantaneous Noise Induced Hearing Loss - Sony MDR-7506 Headphones
Definitely weird. You'd expect the high frequencies to go out first. I don't know, it might've been a coincidence that you lost your hearing, and it might've not been because of the headphones.- CyberSyringe

OPPO PM-3 Portable Planar Magnetic Headphones Loaner Program
Considering that I've been simply lurking for some time now, I think I might want to actually do something useful and possibly write a review, although I'm not a particularly good writer. Nevertheless, I'd like to participate in this program and agree to the terms and conditions.- CyberSyringe

Instantaneous Noise Induced Hearing Loss - Sony MDR-7506 Headphones
I've heard that hearing loss is due to accumulation of free radicals in your inner ear. Basically, noise exposure leads to the buildup of these toxins that will eventually destroy your inner ear cells and lead to hearing loss. Maybe it's possible that you accumulated these dangerous free...- CyberSyringe

What these Frequency charts means?. break it down slowly plz.
Wait, what? It's not the frequency of vibrations that your eardrum experiences that makes something sound louder. It's the sound pressure level, or amplitude of the waves. You are seriously misguided in thinking that frequency has anything to do with volume in that sense. The faster your...- CyberSyringe

please help friends
I could understand him fairly well. However, he definitely needs to quit with the rambling and run on sentences. To OP: of course it depends on how much you want to spend on your headset or headphone+mic combo. That's your own opinion and/or fiscal situation so that's up for you to decide...- CyberSyringe
