Sharing my friend's poor experience with Woo Audio's customer service

Ah! Cables! As a former WA11 owner, I can’t be more familiar with this. When my WA11’s dac module failed, the first thing I was told was that I used the wrong USB cable. On what a world can an USB cable possibly damage dac? Plus I have been using the stock type c USB for the whole time. And...

Cheap balanced cable for Beyerdynamic T1

if you know any cable builders/know how to make cables, the cheapest way to get high-quality cable would be purchasing several feet of cables from Cardas or other manufactures and make a cable yourself. The quality is guaranteed to be good.

The Hardest hitting Headphones are.. ( "The EXTREME BASS Club")

I would give my vote to TH900 MKI with stock cable and tube amp

Focal Elegia - what do you think?

this happened to me as well. I purchased mine in-store and the dealer was pretty nice about it. I got a new cable after email him.

    Best headphones for classical music

hifiman headphones are tuned more toward modern music so they are very rich and warm in general. Sennheiser is always the safest

completely agree. I now even prefer 3.5 over many other jacks because of its simple structure and durability. In comparison, more and more manufactures use multiple types of jacks even for there own products. (yes I am talking about you, Focal)

    Denon AH-7200

Denon are not that hard to drive. But considering it uses the bio-dynamic driver from fostex, a decent amount of power is still needed to drive it well. Adding a portable amplifier might be a good idea.

Techno: Ultrasone Signature Pro -or- Fostex TH-900 MKII

the only thing is that th900 could be sometime a bit too. But tube amp/luxmam amps are good compensations.

I have owned tr-x00(the mass drop version of th610), th900, and now I own a pair of th909. Denon headphones actually use Fostex drivers- they buy these drivers from Fostex and retune them. So it is safe to say Denon and Fostex are essentially the samething. It is just that Fostex are generally...

    Best headphones for classical music

I just tried with my HD800 and the sound stage gets very weird, so does the imaging. I guess Boost 3D is more designed for pop/rock music where precise imaging is not as important. In general, I prefer not to use EQ of any kind

As an owner of the mki version, I taped the inside with medical tape to reduce bass and that mod was pretty successful
