LOL. . no problems there. A&K KC, KC leather case, Samsung tv's, phones, b-die memory for my recently built PC. SK is getting their share of my expendable income.- cnk15

I guess you don't keep up with the computer side of Apple. They introduced a new Cinema Display a couple months ago. . but want to charge you $1k for the pro stand. Hence the analogy. https://www.cnn.com/2019/06/05/tech/apple-monitor-expensive-intl-scli/index.html- cnk15

Well. . if Apple goes down the same path they did with their monitors, it will be a $1500 iPhone and the charger will cost $2000.- cnk15

RAI Penta -- Meze Audio's Flagship IEM with Penta Hybrid Driver Technology
I was using the RP with a Fiio M11 until I got the Kann Cube the other week. The KC just brings the RP's to life and it's been my go to combo ever since. It is a large DAP and not something that I take when I'm out and about. If you can swing the cost of the KC, I would highly recommend it.- cnk15

I do like it better than the M2x. It is more neutral to my ears than the M2x. But the SQ of the M2x is more "fun". However, when I'm out and about, I find myself taking the M2x as it's smaller and lighter. I have 4 DAPs that I use. M0 is used when I'm out mowing the lawn as it's small and...- cnk15

In Ear for KANN Cube
I'm using Meze Rai Penta and Westone W60 IEMs, but those may be outside your budget. For ~$500, I would look at the Fiio FH7 units or the CA Polaris 2 as suggested above.- cnk15

[FiiO M11] Android 7.0, 2.5/3.5/4.4 Powerful Output, Exynos 7872, Dual AK4493 DAC chips, 3GB RAM, WiFi, Two-way LDAC
I actually like the leather case. It's similar to the one for my Shanling M2X and fits well. Yes, you have to put a finger on top when plugging in your headphones, but I don't see that as an issue. I didn't pay anything for it as I got it as part of the promotion Fiio is running, so win-win...- cnk15

How Many DAPs do you own? Looking for Mid Fi DAP around $500-600, Suggestions Please
Currently have 4. Been working my way up the line cost wise. 1. Sony NWZ-F806 - don't really use it anymore as the interface is slow and it has the proprietary Sony connector/cable which I can never find when I need it. 2. Shanling M0 - great for when I want an ultra-small form factor DAP. 3...- cnk15

I currently use a Shanling M0 and M2X. The M0 is usually used when I'm out mowing the lawn or just want an extremely small form-factor DAP. The M2X has been my primary DAC when out and about. I wanted to step up to a mid-tier DAP to see if there was really much difference. I was originally...- cnk15

Hifiman HE-4 Impressions Thread
OK. . did some more listening comparisons without the E7 in the mix. The E9 can drive the HE-4's just fine, but there is a small difference with the EF-5. The EF-5 brings out just a little bit more detail and sounds a tiny bit fuller. If I didn't have both to compare back to back, I would say...- cnk15
