Westone 3 vs. IE8. A Review.
Great review, I share a lot of similar thoughts on the IE8 when I used to own them. I thought the IE8 was the perfect IEM for me, but maybe I will have the chance to try the W3 someday.- ChroniCali

Cowon J3 Impressions Thread
Quote: At least you are aware. :) I've noticed people here on Head-Fi are usually nice people, I also agree that getting decent cans will get you a lot farther than throwing all your money into an expensive DAP at this point in your audiophilic career.- ChroniCali

Cowon J3 Impressions Thread
Quote: Yup, Export Prive is where I got mine, I don't see anywhere else selling them. I was stupid and bought a "J3 Specific" screen protector for over $10, and then I got lint all over it and it looks horrible... Anyways, the Ringke is a top-notch case, I got the dark smoked one, looks...- ChroniCali

Cowon J3 Impressions Thread
Quote: I use the Ringke case for the J3 and I love it. Its silky smooth and doesn't stick to things like regular silicone cases. Also, it does not attract lint at all. It is very low profile and does not add much bulk to the player, keeping it very minimal and sleek, just like it...- ChroniCali

Stello DA100 (show-off/impressions thread)
Hey, just a quick question. Does it matter which SPDIF output from my computer that I use to connect to the Stello? Meaning if I connect my Stello to my motherboard SPDIF and if I connect my Stello to a dedicated soundcard SPDIF, will it sound different? Also, I read in past posts that some...- ChroniCali

Stello DA100 (show-off/impressions thread)
By the way, he did make a mistake, it was purchased in Feb 2007. Quote: Thanks for the food for thought. Putting it in a nutshell, do you mean that DACs all sound the same? ;)- ChroniCali

Stello DA100 (show-off/impressions thread)
Thanks guys for the quick response, I will ask him again if it was really 1997, I think they probably meant 2007. But regardless, I will not be using the USB interface, I will be running it with a coaxial through the spdif of my computer, like how I am currently running from my Bel Canto DAC...- ChroniCali

Stello DA100 (show-off/impressions thread)
Hey, anyone know when the Stello DA100 first went into production? Also, is there different models/marks for the DA100? I'm interested in one in which the seller claims that the unit was bought in 1997. I didn't know that USB DACs were even alive then! Regardless, if it was really produced...- ChroniCali

Cowon J3 Impressions Thread
I can't believe I bricked my J3 for the SECOND time in a row. I bought it from Adorama almost a month ago, bricked the first one when I uploaded songs. It stays hung up on the loading menu, so I feel like it's stuck reading some files and can't process it. Used tcctool and it seems to flash...- ChroniCali
