I'm depressed and need some "Feel good" music
For me, the music from Kontrust works really well. Especially their Time To Tango album. This song (Bomba) makes me laugh. Give their music a chance. What might work well is La Brass Banda. Great music. Just take a listen to the song Natalie. -
Songs that make your headphone WOOOOOW!!!
Trentemøller - Moan (track 12 from 'The Last Resort' album) This song really shines with my Fischer Audio FA-003, amped by a tube-rolled X-Can v3. It's sort of an eardrum massage. -
Review: Fischer Audio FA-003 - a neutral champ!
I have some questions regarding the FA-003: a. Did anyone try the (unmodified/modified) FA-003 with a MF X-Can v3 (stock/6N1P-EB tubes)? If so, what are your impressions? b. Especially @LFF: I know that mastering with headphones is a bit of a no-no but I sometimes have to do it (partially)...- bonesinc

Low level hiss in X-Can v3?
I'm with jmmtn4aj here. I experienced something similar when I had my cordless phone (not cell phone) to close to my X-Can. I would try to move the X-Can and listen if the noise changes. With the cordless phone out of the way my X-Can v3 is dead-quiet.- bonesinc

Where did the bass go? (DT-770)
I've owned my beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro (80 Ohm) for almost 5 months now. The bass on these cans was exactly what I was looking for. For me, it was very involving. I also own a pair of DT-990 Pro (250 Ohm) which I like. I guess you could say that I'm a beyer-fan. Now having said all this, the...- bonesinc

Which open phones?
How about DT-990 Pro instead of the DT-990 2005? The Pro is a fair amount cheaper then the 2005 version.- bonesinc
