Are you using it out of a phone or a computer? It goes freakishly loud for me on my computer but taps out on my android phone. I believe it can only do 2V on a phone but 4V output on the computer?

Using UAPP Pro with my pee51 (in bit perfect where possible) and I am finding the volume quite low (75-80% volume for normal listening with my iems) but only need 20-25% when using Poweramp for the same volume with the same iems . What am I doing wrong in UAPP for such a difference in gain...

Yeah, I have the website up, ready to pull the pin on these if I knew more. Good find, as I could not find that cable in their Audio Cables section. Had to search. I have a couple of "cheapy" cables that I got off eBay, but they are a bit meh.

Sigh, well the break is definitely at the left hand side 2.5mm jack. I have tried pulling back the rubber surround and seeing if there is a visible break that I could just solder but there isn't. May just need to make a whole new connection. I have not had a cable break on a headphone before...

Sigh, I am getting the random drop-outs on my dx90. I generally have my player on random. Only a 64gb card in it, Samsung evo plus. On firmware 2.5.1 Anyone else experiencing these random dropouts still? Was it solved? I cannot find it in the thread. cheers

What have people upgraded to from the x3? My battery life is shot on the x3 and I had not used my ibasso dx50 for a while and it will not charge properly either. Is the new x3 mark 2 a worthy upgrade?

Well, they are all open but the hph200 are the most forgiving and have the most bass presence. The grado's are clearer, more analytical but not as fun. The yamaha's were a bargain for what I paid, and only a third of the cost of the grado's. Gotta keep things in perspective. I do not listen...
