Burson V7 Classic Pro and V7 Vivid Pro - Hi-Fi audiophile solid-state op-amps
So what is the consensus, V7v for I/V? Got only a pair, for testing, you could say. Unit is R180X (Burson). There is also a pair of Sparkos SS3602(new). Original setup is V6v all, only got I/V and LP stages. am not into fiddling around too much. Thanks.- aro

3 new Ultrasone Signature Headphones: Master, Natural and Pulse
It is nice to see, that they are still doing something useful. For last half a year my understanding was that they put some mean 7 year old in charge of customer service just to make them first on the list of most customer despising companies on the globe. Must be very tough competition, since...- aro

3 new Ultrasone Signature Headphones: Master, Natural and Pulse
Can anyone with experience make full list of Ultrasone units starting from hifi, pro, sig, ed... List for bass, list for tonality. Love my pro 900, love my sig pro(for 1.5hours max due to ear tip pain), like ed12. Would like to get ed 10 due to semi closed type(only ed11 available in shops)...- aro

USB-C to 3.5mm adapters (DAC) - Let's find the best
Hi, got HiBy fd3. Works, music was bad out of box, had to play with official app eq settings. With Ultrasone headphones it became too deep. After adjustment it was ok. Sound is good. Only issues noises sometimes when connected to pc - electrical wire scratching after some time connected, and...- aro

USB-C to 3.5mm adapters (DAC) - Let's find the best
Used to use LeTV x600 which has some sort of audio chip, cant find specs anymore, other than that, directly from laptop jack(sometimes with neco soundlabs v4?) So never had proper source DAC or other if not counting old Panasonic portable CD player. Most music in FLAC thou. Point is this FD3...- aro

USB-C to 3.5mm adapters (DAC) - Let's find the best
You went above and beyond on this, thank you. Answer came after I ordered FD3, will see how it goes. Seemed like safe bet regarding supported sockets. Was looking at both options, not fully determined what to use yet. Data in computer, cant fit all in phone.- aro

The discovery thread!
Hi, can somebody answer me two things regarding sound quality? 1. Where on this list would my Ultrasone Tio be? 2. How this list would compare with Ultrasone pro 900, signature pro? Can we even compare closed back with buds? I hope someone would make list with all new arrivals and with...- aro

Ultrasone Pro 900 Impressions Thread
Sound: DJ vs Pro vs 900 - refined with more bass vs refined vs slightly recessed mids with more bass. Wear comfort: up to 3h vs up to 3h vs 8h with new pads(14h after my pad mod). Mechanical quality same for all, just leather and cloth difference. S logic: Signature series needs more accurate...- aro

Ultrasone Pro 900 Impressions Thread
I do not believe someone listening on his/her headphones would hear your music. Side note: finally done with repair/upgrade/mod of mine. Now head is pushed gently all round.Back is done with adaptive velcro, so I can take it off or change foam in seconds.- aro

Ultrasone Pro 900 Impressions Thread
Pro 900 for el music all the way, can go with signature too, but cheap and very good is pro 900, after looong burn in, that is. I have signature pro as well, but as a workhorse - 900, used daily. Tron soundtracks, daft punk, all kick in very nicely.- aro

Ultrasone Pro 900 Impressions Thread
I could say, sounds a bit softer. Would like to try kees mod sometime too. Anyway I like the pads, should be an official option like this for people with sensitive ears. Memory foam and larger size.- aro

Ultrasone Pro 900 Impressions Thread
Home improvement project: pads done with velvet? you can decide - two rings, like in original pads, insides of memory foam(solid ring)+ring of soft cotton, mesh, plastic base cut from plastic cap-drilled-sanded holes 0.2mm aprox, did not check. Cost unknown, since I got enough foam for five...- aro
