Audeze - Our Maxwell Gaming Headsets! (latest: Firmware v61 and HQ v97)
I hardly think Sony are to be held responsible for a product that was developed and produced prior to them owning the company.- Arkard1

Your connecting with Blutooth right? Not the dongle plugged into your phone (does that even work?) I would forget the Maxwell device and re pair it if you had not tried that yet as well.- Arkard1

Audeze - Our Maxwell Gaming Headsets! (latest: Firmware v61 and HQ v97)
It's how the console communicates and interacts with the dongle. I believe people have said Xbox maxwell works on Ps5 in pc mode and connected to one of the rear usb's or something like that. Audeze will not officially support the Xbox maxwell working on Ps5 due to patches from the consoles or...- Arkard1

No it's more expensive because of the Atmos license and whatever was needed for Microsoft certification- Arkard1

Most of those are an issue of that particular unit. Issues and defective products are bound to happen with mass produced things. I would RMA for an exchange which I'm sure Audeze will have no problem doing.- Arkard1

I can't find a reliable way either. I have same issue when trying to go from the dongle to phone. On ps5 you have to go into settings and disable the headset, which is annoying. I wish there was a button to force switch between inputs. Hands done the biggest issue with the maxwells imo.- Arkard1

Ios app will be coming in q2. I imagine the desktop hq app will eventually get custom eq as well as Penrose had it. In the meantime maybe you have a friend that uses android and would maybe have an old phone or tablet and let you use it for a couple days to dial in an eq you like.- Arkard1

On Ps5, he is using 3d audio (sonys version of directional audio) and he is using position 4,changes the position the audio comes from slightly, raises or drops its height based on what you pick.- Arkard1

Honesty it sucks right now, it's supposed to switch automatically based on priority. There is jow way to force it other then to disconnect whatever you want to not play to the headset.- Arkard1

Yeah I don't know why they are behaving differently. If I switch my headset on, audio runs through it. Once I turn it off it's right back through my receiver. Your dongle is set to Playstation right? Not sure if that would make a difference or not, but only thing I can think of.- Arkard1

That's weird, I never unplug my dongle and it only switches in when I turn my headset on. I am using the short USB extension and have it plugged into back of Ps5 (so kot using USB c port) not sure if that makes a difference or not.- Arkard1

This is my experience as well, on pixel 6 pro. Why there isn't a button to switch inputs on the headset is beyond me. Probably the largest flaw honestly. Maybe they can make lo pressing the ai mic botton switch inputs or something.- Arkard1
