I think you should send the original package with all accessories, I sent mine back for repair once, and I think they just replace the full pair

I'm using ie900 and u12t with 1zm2, I like how they sound, ie900 has such a great fit which I can wear duing sleep

by the way if I only play local files with built in player, does Hi-Res stream option on or off matter?

Okay I just did another test, this time I charged my 1zm2 to 100% then play local files with Hi-Res stream off direct source st low gain volumn 73 straight for 12.3 hours, and suprisingly got 69% battery left, so the total expected hours would be 12.3 / 0.31 = 39.6 hours, convinced :)

Oh thanks for the info, I just purchased a new unit in US 2 weeks ago, and luckily it has high gain, I would have been more careful if I know US version could also have cap... Mine come with a pretty small serial number 10002XX, so probably is a ealier produced unit

oh wow, US version can also have volume cap? How to tell without comparing to other Sony DAP? I thought the one with High gain gonna always without cap...

Thanks for the datapoint, but according to Sony https://helpguide.sony.net/dmp/nwwm1m2/v1/en/contents/TP1000521634.html even on 4.4 with 96KHz FLAC, it should last 40 hours...

Wondering has anyone done similar test? On the fense of returning this.... btw 5% per hour is with High-res streaming on, with that off it was 4% per hour, still far from even 30 hours playback time... thought that won't matter when playing local files with built-in player
