They seem to be slightly shallower, but i guess they don't crumple as much cause my earlobes don't touch the insides. On the right are the famously criticized focal elex pads from Massdrop which I cannot use, since my earlobes touch the inner grill of the headphones. On the left is my original...

I think they are actually great for the money. Quality seems good. No weird smell, no residue glue. They are correct size and nice feeling and sufficiently stuffed (my earlobes do not touch the inner grill unlike massdrop 2020 focal elex pads). Should have bought the leather ones though.

I believe 38ohm should give 3-4db boost at 50hz according to the impedance of focal. i guess that might be pleasent tho?

I bought the grey perforated pu leather earpads and will provide pics and feedback when arrive (probably take a month). i also asked if the "sheepskin" leather are animal leather or protein leather and will provide answer when i receive... and probably buy anyway.

I think the hole size is the same. The difference in size might be an illusion because dark hole on light and dark on dark. But you can definitely see that the clear pads are more full.
