The problem with looking for forum opinions on which of those headphones is best for those genres of music, is that it is all subjective.   I use my DT880 with just about any genre of music and recordings of varying quality (from youtube videos and MP3 to lossless and a few High res tracks)...

I find this poll really interesting. For some reason I was under the impression that the T1 was not as highly regarded by head-fiers as the other flagships. The poll results imply a very different situation.

Nice review. I find it surprising that you had issues with the sound of the DAC1 past 3 o'clock on the volume. Actually I'm most surprised that you reached 3 o'clock. I guess I need to research the sensitivity of the Hifiman HE500 vs my Beyerdynamic DT880 (600 Ohm). Since I rarely listen past 10.

Which one of these is more neutral?          Personally, I'd say it's the DT880, but it is debatable.
