just use an 12V negative center power supply, so no need to cut wires or get an adaptator.

Yep I was talking about using a 12v linear supply. I searched but most srs3100 owners seems to use jameco or ifi audio power supply. Haven t see any impressions of someone using a linear power supply with srm252s.

Hi, got an SRS3100 from japan and I'd like to know if I should just buy a step down converter ( voltage is 220V in my country) or if using a linear power supply would worth the extra cost ? Is there gonna be any audible difference or stock supply is already all I need :)
