I weighed my stock metal headband and my Carbon fiber headband. CF was 16 grams less (maybe 19 grams, I posted it in this thread somewhere). Basically 1/2 an ounce. So, no. It does not make a difference. I didn't buy it for the weight savings though. I bought it to match by LCD-XC cups.

I have owned every version of the ADI-2 series (except the Anniversary edition). Sound quality wise, they all sound EXACTLY the same. The only difference is the PRO models have more power and more output/input options. If you need the extra power of the PRO series then get one of those...
