Hey guys,

Since I live in a country which Amazon doesn't ship to...

I was looking at this:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1-8-TFT-Screen-Black-RuiZu-X02-HiFi-4G-MP3-MP4-Music-Player-FM-Recorder/32456686262.html?spm=2114.01010208.3.2.5rjRaL&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_0_10065_10068_10000009_10084_10083_10080_10082_10081_10060_10062_10056_10055_10054_10059_9995_10099_10078_10079_426_10103_10073_10102_10096_10052_10050_10107_10051_10106-10052_9995,searchweb201603_0,afswitch_4&btsid=9c6a08c0-6cb5-478a-bdb1-6257c9ec43ef

Do you think it's genuine player and is it possible to flash it with AGPTEK A02 firmware ?

Is there any other good player in a "low budget" buy ?

Depending on how low budget you need to go, I'd recommend the Benjie S5 as a significant improvement over the Ruizu, (and the Walnut v2 as a significant improvement over the Benjie if you can live with the unusual bare bones functionality). Both have their own threads and I recommend taking a look. Best price for the Benjie is probably Gearbest. They're both a bit more expensive than the Ruizu, but not that much more.

Hi, how much is fast the fast forward function on this player? I need it to play long mp3 files (2 hours or more every file). Often I have to go, for example, from 0:00:00 to 1:50:00. How much time this operation lasts? Thank you!

The bad news is that it's quite slow.

The good news it that it remembers where it was stopped last time.

Thank you for your fast reply. So the fast forward speed isn't enough to reach a specified point on a long file in an acceptable time. Unfortunately, I don't need the remember function, so I'll search other players. Thanks :)

If you want a larger screen than the Benjie s5 look at Benjie's K9. Size is more akin to the Ruizu.

The X02 has 10 bookmarks you can set.
On my 2 years old player I have some troubles setting them but maybe it's the age.

I just received my Ruizu X02, and I have an AGPtek M20 for about a month.

I am surprised that they sound different, because when I contacted AGPtek support, Eva replied that their A02 (Ruizu X02 clone) has same chip as their M20 and would sound the same...  that's why I ordered a X02 as a backup

but no, and instead, the X02 has a lot less bass and its treble is more harsh >_<

upgrading X02 with AGPtek A02 1.7 FW did not change the sound, still less bass and harsh treble

could someone with both players help me do a comparison to see if I get a defective X02?

Does anyone know anything about the Ruizu X11? It looks like a step up from the other Ruizu models, at least aesthetically. Is it a new realease?

Most importantly, is the sonic performance an improvement over previous Ruizu models, which to my ears have been very disappointing.

Have the device. With micro usb. Sound is awful. As mentioned above - no bass and harsh treble. Things could be made better with equalizer but still sub-bass is nonexistent and highs - i thought tweeters on my SVEN-MA332 broke because I could tell no difference covering them with my hand while played by X02. It just doesn't go all the way up compensating with higher volume at lower highs (the reason of harshness). The only thing that's impressive is battery life. I got no less than 30-35 hours from it. But hell what did you expect from a small, lightweight, endurant player? Sound quality? You'd be fooling yourself.

Agree with you about the sound but it's still great for listening to podcasts in the car. It always boots back up in exactly the same place it was stopped.

For a better version, try the AGPtEK B03. Same great battery life ( almost ) but sounds good too. I think it's the best bargain in the whole AGPtEK/Ruizu line up so far.
