Shanling M2s 2.10 version firmware:

1) HiBy Link officially released
2) Added fade-in & fade-out feature
3) Added digital filter setting- Slow and sharp roll-off
4) Changes to visual design of UI including immersing status bar
5) Few translation corrections
6) Fixes for different small bugs

Is wonderful to see so much dedication from Shanling to all Shanling product owners and the regular firmware updates make the products more stable and more features are added.

Hi all! I just have updated to the last firmware with no problems. I recieved mine on tuesday, I've charged it three times and battery duration is around 5-6 hours.Maybe this is normal on the first charges. I noticed that having two battery indicator steps the low battery message appeared and it turned off. I use flac and dsf archives, pairing sometimes with Cayin C5 amp. Im very happy with this new dap. It's hard to compare to the Dx50. Both sound similar to me. The Bluetooth feature is very practical, but it doesn't works with dsf files.

Any similar experience with battery? Thank you!

Shanling, just wondering why you guys just didn't enable the akm 4490 stock digital filters? As there are 5 of them instead of 2, I mean this is a 4490 right ??? And can you please tell us the difference in sound characteristics between steep and gradual. I'm not bitching, it just seems like even more work to not use the built in filters.

Hi guys,
I have a problem after new firmware update. My screen when turned off (screensaver) and I want wake up the screen I have seen nothing. I mean I seen something similar like on the TV when no signal. After switching off and back again on it's working, but as soon the screensaver turns on the issue repeat itself. I have upgraded twice the firmware and I went from the 1.10 firmware. Oh, and sometimes the screen working fine.

Try doing a factory reset, see if that helps
