3.im planning to buy leather case for m1 , i watched some video on youtube that i saw it was so tight leather case which cause some button touched accidentally just only a bit touched..i need to confirm this

Hi, I hope you are enjoying your M1 :)

To your questions:
1) No, it doesn't have screen protector installed, we leave the chocie up to the customers.
2) For safety of your hearing gain has no effect, since you have same volume in the end. I prefer to use low gain with my IEMs, to get more accurate volume settings.
3) Yes, case can be little tight in beginning, but it stretches after short time and then fits great.

I'm here if you have any other questions.

Introducing Shanling L2 USB cable

USB transport is one of the most popular features of M1 player, easily turning it into amazing music source for wide range of DACs. But search for appropriate USB cable can be tiring, so we decided to develop our own!

Build by hand from top quality materials, Furukawa 6N silver plated copper wires from Japan. Highly practical thanks to angled connectors (USB C to Micro USB). And working flawlessly with Shanling players and wide range of DACs.

Available from 23.6.2017 for just 25 USD

In box should be two kinds of screen protector, one shaped for screen, other shaped for back of device, with cutout due to wheel.

Card reader will transfer your files faster on your Micro SD card.

@Shanling. Please speak to your engineers and verify that the unit "natively" plays DSD. I was under the distinct impression, from Shanling, that the unit does NOT natively play DSD. Instead, it does indeed convert DSD on the fly to PCM and plays that. Some early marketing videos had that fact incorrect and stated native DSD and that error was confirmed by Shanling. However, it can act as a DSD transport for the Chord Mojo, etc.

Your most recent post could be interpreted as stating that the unit natively plays DSD and I am fairly confident that is NOT correct. In my view, there is a difference between decoding to PCM on the fly vs native DSD playback.

Thanks Shanling, just ordered the awesome OTG cable. Hope to receive my M1 next week to pair with my Mojo.

Great product - was a big gap in the market. Not even thinking about the Chord Poly now and look to save myself +$800USD net.

Yeah, that poly is darn pricy! :astonished:

If the M1 could receive BT in aptX, it would be super fantastic.

It has BT with aptX as I recall.

When i pasue my music and shut down the DAP, can I return to recently played playlist? I see only "recent play" as history of previously played track and I want for example to finish listening to an album.

Does aptX only when transmitting from the M1 to BT headphone/speakers. When receiving BT audio from a device (phone, tablet. etc.) it's only SBC not aptX.

That's just how recently played works, gives you the recently played songs.

BUT you can go to: Play settings > Resume Mode > and set it to lactation. That way it will be set to play from you last location (album, artist or playlist depending where you where).

THANK YOU!

"When receiving BT audio from a device (phone, tablet. etc.) it's only SBC not aptX."

Is the transmitting unit capable of aptX?

Yes, it will transmit in aptX, just not receive.

I'm assuming it's a limitation of the chip not something Shanling can control. Don't know why the chip maker didn't support two way aptX, or if there is a BT chip that will do two way aptx but that would be the best option.
