DUNU 4 Driver, 5 Driver new Hybrid earphone presentation on 2015 the 22nd Beijing International Hi-Fi Exhibition

Ok, so I'm gonna be honest. My first impressions of the sound of the Dunu wasn't quite as good as I had anticipated. However, I've just made one small change, and these things have turned into quite the gems. Whilst Dunu did include quite a number of tips, none of them were comfortable for me. the Spinfits had the best comfort (but still not quite as comfortable as I'd like), but what they did to the sound was horrible. It was so overly bassy, and the mids were quite recessed. But then, I decided to use the smaller double-flange tips of my Pinnacle P1s. HOLY DAMN. The Dunu instantly became comfortable. And the sound? Let's put it this way....if @DUNU-Topsound cares about its product, they'd jump at the opportunity to include these MEE double-flanged tips. The difference is quite surreal.

I didn't, and still don't, understand the hype about SpinFit... They sound horrible. Don't know why DUNU chose to jump on the hype train...

This is basically my sentiments when I bought the DN2KJ until I put on the JVC Spiral dots and the IEMS really came to life.

I have often found this one of the biggest things that can make small changes that changes how a certain IEM sound to me. If companies had more eartips to experiment with, it would be great. I think I have found that I often have to go trying other tips from other companies and sometimes they will really hit home. I usually have to experiment with eartips on my own and sometimes it can be disappointing.

I guess some IEM the effect is more dramatic than others. Dunu already include more eartips than any other brand I've tried... but I guess more wouldn't hurt :D

As the authorized SpinFit tips agent in China, the new Twin-Blade tips are available now at DUNU, there are 3 models in different type, it does improve the sound relatively.

Yeah, honestly, the difference is night and day. The included spin-fits really don't do the DK-3001 any justice. To me, they sounded a bit like Beats (very recessed mid range, excessive bass). But with the right tips, they sound absolutely wonderful. Nice wide stage, great details, superb separation,  and with a pretty balanced response (slightly elevated bass). A lot of it has to do with the bore size of the tips. As anyone who deals with the manufacturing of CIEMs will know, smaller bore acoustic tubing increases bass and lowers treble, where as larger diameter tubing does the opposite.

Okay. These SpinFit look nothing like the ones I tried years ago. I'll check them out.

I used my DN1Ks this morning. I mean they are really nice and there is nothing wrong with them for me, but wow, I really appreciate the DN-2002s even more now in terms of sound. DK-3001 look great too (more snug and comfy).
People seem to be a little quiet these days..

Yes - review coming soon. One of the most coherent monitors I've heard in the last 12 months. Sublime.

On biz trip - back next week. Unfortunately no time to provide further details

Hows that review coming? Im anxiously awaiting to hear what you think. Also, if you could take a pic with them in your ear that would be great.
