ATTICUS and EIKON, the new dynamic driver headphones from ZMF

I've had the Eikon for a few weeks now and just want to share some impressions of dac/amp pairings.

Chord Mojo (dac) + Alo Continental V5 = fair
Mojo (dac) + Valhalla 2 = also fair
Mojo by itself = pretty decent
Bifrost Multibit + Jotunheim = absolutely stellar.

This last pairing sounds bold, punchy, meaty, with amazing soundstage and imaging. Great extension at both high and low end. Not harsh at all. Overall almost sounds like a different headphone from the previous 3 pairings. I considered more costly options before committing to the Schiit products and I'm pretty happy with it.

Just got my Padauk Atticus!

Any tips? Burn in info?

Burn-in with regular music for 150 hours should do it.

I prefer my Eikon out of this setup:

It has a very nice synergy with the LC and using the Mojo as a DAC too. Combine all that with some nice cables from Norne and it's icing on the cake :relaxed:

Now the only thing I need is for my temporary left ear mucus to be cured. I "hear" a slight Acufene (Tinitus) ringing, probably after a cold I had sometime ago. Maybe something triggered it this past sunday. Don't want to stress my ears more until then :disappointed:
Sweet set up!

Burn-in with regular music for 150 hours should do it.
Thanks! What kind of changes should I expect?

btw DAC is a Cayin iDac-6 and amp is WA7 Fireflies with CBS Hytron psu tubes.

At #47, and it's been almost 8 weeks. It will happen eventually, and when it does, it will be... awesome! It's all about patience - inhuman patience! :D

At #2, and it's been 5.5 months, wonder if it will hit 6 months

I feel for you. It's a bummer to see those same 4 names at the top for weeks. I can only imagine how you must feel!

We had an issue with our Padauk that held us back for a couple weeks but all those padauk sets are in production and shipping shortly.
