    I bought these, I think they sound good enough. The highs don't hurt my ears at loud volumes. The highs of the A900 hurt my ears at high volumes. (I listened at yodobashi umeda, so it's not fair at all). The bass doesn't get in the way but it's there. There's a bass line in "Good times"...
