    helping finding what i need

    i'm thinking of getting a high 200, low 300 dollar pair of headphones. look at the AKG k701/702, beyer dt880's etc... but what i'm wondering is what do i need as far as headphone amps go? how much should i spend on one to get the full effect? also do i need a DAC? i don't really get what these...
