If each stick of RAM runs fine on its own, then they're working properly. To get two sticks running stable you'll probably have to up the NB or RAM voltages. Whether you get it running in dual channel or not doesn't matter much since its benefits are marginal.

It's definitely gotten good reviews across the board, and not just from critics. But I agree that Pitchfork went a little overboard giving it a 9+. And if I judged every album I own based on my first listen my music collection would be pretty crappy. I still need to listen to this album more...

At The Drive-In > Mars Volta > Sparta Really. I haven't listened to TMV's album in a long time but I'll occasionally pop in Relationship of Command or In Casino Out. The music was better before their pretentious ways.

akgs are harder to drive than 580s, volume-wise. But like the previous posts have stated the akgs have very good resolution at low volumes. You won't be missing a lot of detail even if you're using a pdcp to power your akgs.
