I'm looking to replace the head pad / head band on my SR-007 (mark 1), the band is getting a little loose and the pad has seen better days. :) Has anyone seen any for sale recently?

Before spending any additional $$ what you need to do is find a way to try out the more expensive models - the difference in quality is rather small in my opinion - many disagree - but I think most agree that there is very serious decline in performance per $ above the 407 range.

Quick question on SR-L700 comfort - are the cups identical / very similar to the 507? The 507's were never very comfortable for me, my ear had too much contact with the earcups - the 007/009s are a much better fit for me. Is the "depth" of the ear pad similar to the 507?
