    Ultimate ears super-fi 5 problems.

I just bought a pair of super-fi 5s (non replaceable cable) and the right ear bud only seems to be working around half of the time. Source doesn't matter, I've tired my laptop, Ipod and hifi. I've had a good jiggle around with the cable as well but it doesn't seem to be loose anywhere. Has...

    Ambient Help

I'm looking for some more music to add to my ambient collection. Something along the lines of Trent Reznor's ambient stuff. Specifically tracks like A warm place. Fire away.

    Upgrade woes

Part of me wants to just continue to be happy with my Fubar and HD650s and just dump all the money for the Lavry into CDs, because, to be honest, that's what's it's all about really.

    Upgrade woes

I'm currently running my laptop with all my music encoded with FLAC into a Fubar III to a set of HD650s. I have to say, I've been happy with this set up for about 18 months now, but after a lot of reading, I feel I could be getting a lot more. I'm about to pull the trigger on a Lavry DA10, and...

Alert! Great Lavry Dac just came up on Agon

Hmm, did a search round and didn't find anything. Maybe it got sold outside Audiogon and taken off or something like that.

    Lavry DA-10 Driving speakers?

Quote: Compared to my Bryston SP1.7 I can drive my Harbeth Monitor 40s at lower level while still getting a lot of detail. I tried the headphone output with the Super.fi Pro 5 (low impedance), Etymotic er-4s, and my HD600. It drives them all with ease and the sound is ... smoooth. In fact...

    Lavry DA-10 Driving speakers?

Impedance 6-8 ohms Sensivity 86db/1W/1m - very easy amp. load Amp. suggestion 50W+ Power handling 200W programme That's the specs for the Harbeth 40s. I'm sure that's what he said he was driving and that they sounded pretty decent.

    Lavry DA-10 Driving speakers?

I'm sure I remember seeing something when this DAC first came out about someone driving a pair of Harbeth 40 monitors with just the XLR outs from this DAC and saying it sounded pretty good at low volumes. Anyone tried this? I've never seen a pair of XLR to Speaker cables before though.

Just RockBoxed my 5G Ipod Video!!

I love rockbox. It's very easy to use and I even find it a tad more intuitive than the standard Ipod Firmware. However it can be a bit unstable sometimes. But afters years of Linux use you kind of get use to that sort of thing.
