Can DX160 drive planars to a satisfactory level? I have 2 planars; ZMF Blackwood ( Fostex T50RP mod) and Quad Era-1 (20-Ohm /108dB).

Is the DX160 on par with Chord Mojo?

DX200 owners who buy DX220. I trade Chord Mojo/ Aedle VK-X (2019 - 600 euro) / Quad Era-1 (Mint - 650 euro) For your DX200 if you have a Good selection of amps. For Mojo trade, amp 1 is ok. I envy dx220 owners...

How do these sound with Chord Mojo? I will pickup the quads today but waiting for a cable to the Mojo.

My Aedle VK-X black 1 month old is up for trade vs DAPs like dx200, qp1r or headphones/IEMs in the 500-1000$+ category. They sound and look great but i have Mobius and wireless inears which i use more atm.

What is the IEM with the most naturally spacious soundstage? I get that some earbuds have wide stage, but curious about IEM's with a bit more isolation.

Has anyone tried the Blackwood's with Chord Mojo or any of the high-end DAP's like QP1R, LP5 Pro or others? I'm asking since Blackwoods requires some juice. I'm specifically thinking about the Mojo since I can use it as a computer DAC too. The DX80 from ibasso seems too weak to drive my Blackwoods.

My limited experience with the X3(2 days) is that it's rather balanced and has enough clarity to make me satisfied. It has some warmth, it sounds beautiful! Soundstage is quite wide which I like, could have been wider though. The software is good, not great but everything seems to work smooth so...

For you who have both 100 and 200. Are the 100s easier to drive? I would use a rooted samsung galaxy S with voodo-sound as my source without any external amp. The internal amp is pretty good from my experience. Overall clearer and more powerfull than my clip+

Things get skewed when lots of people comment on the sound of these phones without having heard them, which in turn brings the hype to another level.  Sure there's some impressions confirming that FXZ100/200 have certain traits, but anyway this is what makes you grow tired of yet another...

If you happen to have a decent smartphone. Checkout Apex Glacier - connect the DAC to your smartphone. Some compare the sound DX100 but I havn't tried it myself. I know it's not in the UK but I tell you TTVJ is known for their good service.
