Closed, tough, cheap phones
Hey, I've searched around but i think my situation is probably quite unique. These phones will be used in a noisy environment by people who want a taste of an album/song before they buy. For this reason they don't need to sound great, just ok. They do however need to be tough as nails, cheap...- SenjStevo

Long-term storage medium
5 Months later...... I have almost finished an honours project on the subject of Digital Preservation. Most websites on this subject are aimed almost exclusively at Universities, companies and government organisations. Quiet, compact gaming computer DIY
I've done major upgrades myself. I've replaced motherboards, tons of cards, drives etc... so i think i'm experienced enough to build my own computer for my own specific needs. This will probably happen in the next 6 months or so when i gather the funds together. I've looked at getting this built...- SenjStevo

£60 bargain for the brits - The Goldring DR-150
Just browsing the Rock Grotto Forum and found this thread It's a good read for anyone who doesn't want to spend the earth on their first proper headphone. Apparently the DR-150 is a great bargain which sounds very good, can be run without an amp but scales nicely with one. It would be...- SenjStevo

Open headphones for ambient, indie rock and low-fi
Hi, I've looked around and done my research but i'm still undecided and always open to other options. I like post-rock bands like Hot Water Music and Sparta, who have raw vocals, plenty of distorted guitars, cymbals and driving drums. I also like stuff like Sigur Rós, Gods speed and...- SenjStevo

Non-portable mp3 player
Hi there, I'm trying to build a bed side/home use rig. I've looked at cd players, and portable mp3 players but neither truly fit the bill (i don't want to buy a second portable mp3 player with a line-out, and i'd prefer not to fiddle around with cds) is there a player which fits my needs...- SenjStevo
