Just browsing the Rock Grotto Forum and found this thread

It's a good read for anyone who doesn't want to spend the earth on their first proper headphone. Apparently the DR-150 is a great bargain which sounds very good, can be run without an amp but scales nicely with one. It would be interesting to put it along side say the 595s and SR-60/80s or any other headphones in that bracket. I'd love to hear these and compare them to my 595s.

well i know someone who gave up their SR125's or was it Sr225's for a pair of DR150's and he said he doesn't regret it!

Nice. Always loved the sound of the HD's but dreamt on.

Have to try these out oneday.
