Can you buy Jung Super Regulator PCBs anywhere?

Thank you for posting this, looks impressive! Did he went higher than 1kHz. Would be interesting to see how they perform with higher frequenzies, like near the MHz region.

Cases and enclosures: What are the constraints?

You have to take a look over at AMB's Beta22 page, there's a gallery of Beta22 builts and some done a really nice job there. Maybe some inspiration. AMB Beta22 Greetz

Cavalli Compact Tube Hybrid (CTH) Tube & Tweak thread.

mmm...still rising, now at 78°C for the tube and 73°C for ICH, to what temperatures are you're 6H30 rising? Smeggy?

Cavalli Compact Tube Hybrid (CTH) Tube & Tweak thread.

Now that's the sound I was searching! Really nice tube, probably the best I bought so far, will have to listen more though. Even nicer and much more power over my HD595s. Really gets them jumpin'. Greetz Ava puuuh, but I just meassured, both ICH and the tube get up to almost 70°C, with an...

Cavalli Compact Tube Hybrid (CTH) Tube & Tweak thread.

Yeah I'll see how bigger tubes will handle. For now I exchanged L1H, L2H and ICP is heatsinked. C3H is 330µ for me atm, I'll see what happens when the 6H30 arrives. Thank you!

Cavalli Compact Tube Hybrid (CTH) Tube & Tweak thread.

Did anyone who's using a 6H30P replaced more than just L1H, L2H and the trafo, maybe heatsinking ICP and ICH? Is it necessary or advised to replace D1H-D4H, since they're 1A devices? C4 are higher voltage types already. Greetz and thanks for any help!

We Got Ti Kan (AMB) an HD800!

Please count me in for at least one spot! Ti and his work (esp the b22) is one of the reasons I got into this hobby which will be my profession in some time, I hope. And the HD800 is a dream,so I guess a worthy gift to a fellow head-fi contributor. greetz and thank you all and esp to the mod for...

Is the shunt regulator much better than the 78xx series?

    New headphones...

Oh definitly HD595. They're warm, beautiful sounding ahve nice bass and are easy to amp. Although you have to consider, that they're open and have no isolation from noise at all. Maybe more of a home use headphone, but if he's searching this, I'd say go for it. Greetz Ava

    The LCDuino-1 I/O processor

If I wanted to meassure the 30 volts of my Sigma22 (positive rail) would a simple voltage divieder with these (picture) values work? (maybe a noobie dumb questing but I'd really like to get on that, am working with arduino duemilanove atm) Thanks for any help. Just at addressing a 16x2 LCD...

    ß22 + σ22 design complete ••• Opinions welcome

Sorry to interrupt, just wanted to throw in my 2cents. For me, I prefer dual 3 pins. Don't know why, but I prefer them. Nobody will ever get me to only put a 4pin on my front. And as long as I heart Tyll only decided to begin using dual 3pins because there already was one neat little connector...

    Cable info

No. It's probably supposed to be used as a stereo cable with the copper mesh shield as return (-). But if you'd like to use it with shield (like most microphone cables are designed for), it's just mono. Greetz Ava

    The LCDuino-1 I/O processor

Is there a good source or way to start into arduino programming, I started with a C++ book which I will read now. Because I have no knowledge of programming yet. I know, but it's part of my studies anyway, why don't start there, where their's a big community. It won't be that the LCDuino board...

    The LCDuino-1 I/O processor

First things first, I want to thank Ti and LinuxWorks sincerely for taking on this project, it makes this hobby soooo much more interesting than it already is! Secondly I wanted to ask if it could be done, and if how, to install a LCDuino into a chassis with a Sigma22 and messure like 4 rails...

Cavalli Compact Tube Hybrid (CTH) Tube & Tweak thread.

Well you could always try to install the LM2596, which max rating is at 3A, if you have larger chokes, but two of the 2596's pins are switched. I think no. 1 and 2 if I remember correctly. Ava

    Attention DIY'ers....got a question...

You're kidding me, this was my first stereo! I loved it so much, but yes it's crap. Yes it's a single board, but wires and stuff all around the place, serious not worth the hassle! I still got it collecting dust somewhere, and I guess the volume is twitchy too in mine. Mind you it's not a...

    DIY iPod digital out

Now that I've found BCLK, DACLRC and DACDAT on my Mini 2G board I'll try to connect them to something (well some kind of dac which I still have to find, or I'll try to build a SPDIF out for my iPod). Oh man how much fun...no it isn't! Damn this board is sooo filled with tiny components. Argghh
