HiFi Rose RS150/150B Network Streamer - Official Thread
I bought the RS250 as a replacement of a new Node and Qutest combo. I am very happy with it as a Roon endpoint. Sounds fantastic.- Mojo777

Audeze LCD-X
I got my X's back from a right driver repair. Support was great. My question: They sound different. Am I imagining that? I wore mine almost daily since Jan '15. I swear these are different headphones. I must assume that the drivers are different than before.- Mojo777

UpTone Audio ISO Regen Listening Impressions
So if I have a short .8m usb run between my Aries G1 streamer and Mytek Brooklyn I could benefit from adding this within the chain.? It’s hard for me to believe what’s leaving the Aries is crap and needs fixing. If someone says different I might try it but it’s difficult to get head around this...- Mojo777

Mytek Brooklyn Thread
Not me. I have both. Versatility goes to Mytek. RME does a better in upper treble response (tad less glare). They are both amazing and I am keeping both but if I only had digital sources I’d exclusively use the RME.- Mojo777

Excellent DAC. The hype on its performance is warranted. Even if I end up putting the Brooklyn back into the main system I’ll keep the rme. I think I like the non fatiguing sound of AK chip DACs a tad more than ESS based ones.- Mojo777

Thanks. I have actually have used the built in phonostage. Clean, detailed, and precise. May be a bit lean for some but sounds very nice. My Sutherland sounds better but if I didn’t hear it I would be very happy with the Brooklyn’s phono playback.- Mojo777

On my mobile so it will be a short reply. For two channel playback I thought the Mytek had more midbass and low bass compared to the Benchmark. Which I like and which ultimately made my decision for me. Similar air, extension, and detail with both of them. I did think the headphone playback...- Mojo777

I have the DAC +. Nice little bump from the original Brooklyn. If you have one already, keep it. Two-channel playback was so close I don't think I can hear difference. The headphone amp though is better this go around.- Mojo777

I can report that the headphone amp in the DAC + is much improved this go around. More control, balance, with no hint of distortion even at high levels. Sounds great using the balanced adapter- Mojo777
