AIAIAI TMA-1
So anyone have these yet that can compare to other headphones? They look pretty sleek. I would be interested in a comparison to the Ultrasone 780s but I'll take whatever I can get.- GuruSY

So what's the word on the new Ultrasone HFI-780????
For what it is worth, I'm not a fan of my 780s. I'm going to be looking to replace them as my "work" headphones. They are, however, awesome at isolation if that is important to you. I can listen to loud volumes and no one can hear what I am playing. I do occasionally listen to some hip-hop...- GuruSY

Sennheiser HD580...
I'm no expert like others on these forums, but the HD580 is one awesome can, I'm glad I bought them new right before they became hard to find. They are glorious with classical and opera.- GuruSY

Need a Closed Headphone Recommendation
Hi head-fi! I am using an iBasso D10 at work with my Ultrasone HD-780s. I do not like the 780s, they are too harsh for me. But I really like their isolation at work. I need real good isolation because I like to listen to music loud. With search and browsing I have seen the following...- GuruSY

Anyone know if an iBasso D10 would be enough to drive these? Thinking about a set of these for work.- GuruSY

Audio Technica ES10 or ESW10 or W1000x without an amp?
Where are you guys finding these ESW10s for sale? Used? I see the ESW9s on amazon, but I don't know how much they are different.- GuruSY

Please spend my money - how would you upgrade this work setup?
I just realized that I listen to more music at work than I do at home, but my work setup is vastly inferior: Ipod Classic LOD -> Pa2v2 -> Ultrasone HFI-780 I have $800 burning a hole in my pocket. My requirements for work are: 1. Must be a headphone that does not leak much sound if any...- GuruSY

Xbox360 headphones
The issue I have with using my closed Ultrasone 780s for gaming is when I use a mic. Because they block external sound so well, my voice sounds very funny when I talk. It is highly annoying to me, but YMMV. But it is something to consider for a gaming phone if you do online gaming and use a mic...- GuruSY

Xbox360 headphones
I am planning on doing an Astro Mixamp setup as well (yay Santa!). My research has led me to consider the DT990 as the headphone. I want the superior bass that those cans are supposed to have over the DT770. (The AD700 will not work for me since I want an open can). If you don't mind a closed...- GuruSY

Need a recommendation for bass heavy open cans
I am looking for a very bass heavy can for gaming and movies. I want to feel the explosions. These will not be music cans, since I own the Senn HD580 for home listening and it is perfectly fine for the music that I listen to. Positional sound quality is not a super concern since I'm not a...- GuruSY

Well no dice on cleaning the pins. I'm going to have to email Dave. I do have new tubes coming in shortly so I will try those also. It sounds like a little kid randomly played with the EQ. Some frequencies sound loud, others don't... and the soundstage is like the music is being played in a...- GuruSY

Yeah something is definitely wrong with this. I tried a Rammstein song instead of the Opera that I was initially listening to... it sounds horrible. The volume is fading in and out a bit, like I need to smack it to come in or something. I can't even hear the vocals in a 3rd song that I tried...- GuruSY
